Some bed and breakfasts, guest houses and hotels in the North Lake District advertise special price offers for their accommodation from time to time and especially during the traditionally quieter times of the year. You may see three nights for the price of two at a B&B, for example, or discounts on evening meals at hotels. Some will simply reduce their room rates, and many will have late availability offers. The offers are usually available for periods other than weekends and bank holiday periods, ie for mid-week stays, but each accommodation proprietor sets their own terms and conditions.

You can save money without compromising on standards with special prices at a range of Keswick and Lake District accommodation.

For self catering cottages the quieter months usually see more availability of short breaks, such as for 3 or 4 nights. In addition, the rental rates will be lower than those of peak periods.
